“Balancing in forestry the conservation of elements of ecological value with the production of high-quality wood” was the goal of the exercises of the Pro Silva Italia Association during the annual meeting organized in Oulx (TO) from 26 to 28 September.

The scenario was a larch-pine forest in the Alta Valle Susa, but the principle is very similar to the one that drives the management promoted by the GoProForMED project for the forests of the Mediterranean biogeographic area and the instrument was a marteloscope, made under the LIFE GoProFor project, with the same methodology and purpose as those that will be made in the GoProForMED training areas.

Another opportunity to collaborate with the Pro Silva Association to establish a network of people active and interested in the project. As a reminder, this collaboration will lead in 2025 to the organization of the international meeting of ProSilva Europe to be held in Sardinia and will also partly cover the activities and areas of our project.
