The 8th Mediterranean Forest Week will take place in Barcelona from November 4 to 8, under the theme "Working together for sustainable and resilient Mediterranean forests: Towards a collaborative roadmap."

In preparation for the event, a series of six webinars has been launched to explore the main themes of the plenary sessions. These webinars will cover topics such as ecosystem services, actions to enhance resilience to wildfires, innovative conservation approaches, green cities, and species movement in the context of the climate crisis.

We are pleased to announce that during the 5th webinar, titled "Innovative approaches to forest conservation: bridging science, practice, and communication," which will be held on October 24, from 10:00 to 11:30 AM CEST, the GoProForMED project will be presented. The project aims to establish a transnational conservation strategy with close-to-nature forest management models.

The webinars will be recorded, so if you are unable to attend, we encourage you to watch the recording to be fully prepared for the 8th Mediterranean Forest Week!
